ESPERANZA 2025

Hindustan International School, Karapakkam was a vibrant hub of colour, energy, and creativity as it hosted its much-anticipated inter-school cultural fest, Esperanza 2025–26, on Saturday, 9th August 2025. The event brought together students from some of Chennai’s most reputed schools, including SAN AcademyVELS InternationalKC High SchoolAPL Global School, and Hindustan’s own Padur and Guindy campuses, among others.

The celebration began on a spectacular note with a high-spirited flash mob by the students of Hindustan International School, Karapakkam. The performance—starting from the entrance and moving all the way to the auditorium—infused the air with enthusiasm and anticipation, warmly welcoming guests and participants into a space of cultural festivity.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by celebrated theatre and film artist Mr. Krishnakumar Balasubramanian, who inspired students with his journey and message on how the arts can be a tool for transformation and social impact. A soulful invocation dance followed, setting a graceful tone for the day ahead.

Throughout the campus, a wide array of cultural and intellectual events unfolded—ranging from photography, treasure hunts, culinary challenges, and storytelling to street theatre, shipwreck debates, solo dance, AI art, filmmaking, fashion walks, and sports matches. Each space buzzed with creativity, collaboration, and healthy competition, providing students a unique platform to express, innovate, and connect beyond the classroom.

As the day progressed, the energy crescended  to the Valedictory Ceremony, preceded by an electrifying performance by the school’s band, HIS Decibels. The ceremony was graced by noted Tamil music composer Mr. Nivas K. Prasanna, whose heartfelt address and live performance left the audience inspired and enthralled.

The continued success of Esperanza is a reflection of the visionary leadership of Chairman Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, whose commitment to nurturing culturally rich and globally competent learners remains central to the school’s mission. His focus on integrating the arts and experiential learning continues to shape Hindustan’s vibrant educational ecosystem.

Esperanza 2025–26 concluded not just with prizes and applause, but with a shared sense of achievement, belonging, and the joy of celebrating student potential in its truest form.
